I disagree that white identity politics is a good thing … because it’s inevitably going to be constituted along racial lines, and that means it’s always going to be whites qua whites against everyone else. I’m against all racial identity politics for this same reason.

What I’d be for is a broad class-based movement composed of poor and working-class people of all races that see their common interest in opposing the kind of corporate cronyism that is supported by the Neoliberal and Neoconservative Establishment. Only when people transcend their superficial racial differences and form broad coalitions like this will we see the kind of fundamental change that will make a real difference in the lives of those people who are currently most excluded and disenfranchised in our corporatist republic.
