I think you might’ve missed the whole point of my response, which was to point out the hypocrisy of people who want to cast off and reject their American heritage when it comes to stuff about this country they don’t like, but then cheerily accept, without comment, all the undeniable benefits of being American that they enjoy on a daily basis. This is a pandemic problem on the regressive segments of the left today, where we have people blaming America for all the world’s ills while not recognizing the sizable flipside of the same coin.
