If you’re interested in some of these race issues, I would also highly recommend this recent YouTube discussion to you:

John McWhorter of Columbia and Glenn Loury of Brown get together every so often to talk about various issues, largely race issues. McWhorter, if you don’t know, is a prominent linguist and traditional liberal (but mostly against identity politics), while Loury is a prominent economist and moderate conservative, and they sometimes disagree, but not in this discussion. This one is about an hour-long and is about The New York Times’ absurd “1619 project” that aims to make everything in this nation about race. I think the discussion is very informative and interesting (full, both, of good arguments and valuable historical tidbits), but it really captures many of the essential points about what’s so deeply wrong and offensive about how the NYT and the larger regressive segments of the left are approaching racial issues today.
