I’m not a white nationalist (I’m entirely against artificially herding people into these kinds of restrictive racial categories) or even right-wing, as you claim. I don’t even think of myself as a conservative. Maybe my articles were being recommended to you because they have something important to say to you that you haven’t considered, and if you’d actually read them instead of just scanning titles, you wouldn’t be making incorrect and inflammatory assertions about me. But, more generally, the bias on Medium, as on Twitter, Facebook and many other platforms, is one I’ve documented in some detail, and the fact that they will occasionally recommend the work of some non-conformist voices like mine doesn’t change that general picture. I’ve worked hard over the years on Medium to build up a small following, and I’m proud of the articles I’ve written, which are often well-researched and, hopefully, also well-written and thoughtful. So if my articles get recommended to others, I daresay I’ve earned that.
