Now you’re just fecklessly lashing out, aren’t you? “Supercilious wretch”? More talk of my sticking my head up my ass? As soon as these people, ie, people like you on the Alt-Left who are almost invariably seething with hatred and resentment, start talking about asses and resorting to name-calling, I know I’ve won the substantive argument, to the extent there was one, and all that’s left is mindless vitriol. Some of them hold out for awhile before sinking to that level. For you, sadly, it didn’t take very long at all.

You’d be well-advised to take a page out of Amber Lisa’s book. She and I had a back-and-forth in this and other threads, and although she clearly disagreed with many things I said (same on my end), she never resorted to name-calling and ad hominems, and that meant that she and I could conduct a coherent discussion in which both of us even benefited from each other’s perspective. I respect her, and that’s because she deserves respect for conducting herself like a mature and decent human being and not like an intemperate lout. Needless to say, I don’t respect you, and you won’t get my or anyone else’s respect until you learn to engage in civil dialogue in a civil fashion. There are neo-Nazis and white supremacists and black nationalists and other people out there to whom you don’t have to be civil, perhaps, but I’m not one of those people by any stretch of the imagination. I’m just someone who has a different perspective from your own, and I’m capable of engaging in reasoned dialogue about my perspective, as I’ve proven time and again on Medium. So maybe it’s not asking too much to meet reasoning with reasoning, not with dumb digs and juvenile insults.
