“People like me” are people who believe that truly helping black people (not “POC,” since that ridiculous term includes all kinds of people, some of whom have higher average incomes than white people in America) entails not empty posturing, virtue-signaling, yelling about white privilege and other such token nonsense to show what an amazing ally you are, but rather concrete reforms to fight the reality of disproportionate black poverty, which is the ultimate root of the racism still out there today. But the kinds of reforms that are needed will never be implemented unless you have the white and black poor and working classes uniting against elites, and unfortunately, the more the hateful, violent-rhetoric spewing anti-white, anti-cop #BLM narrative is permitted to become the face of the anti-racist movement, the more poor and working class whites will be sent fleeing to the other side of the political aisle, with the result that the majority remains splintered and divided, so that the corporate elite minority and its tools in the media and political class can keep the status quo intact. So with all due respect, I’ll direct that right back at you: people like YOU are the problem.
