Sorry, but you don’t speak for all or even most African immigrants or Afro-Carribbean immigrants, so you don’t get to lecture me about what they do or don’t think, especially if you start throwing out trendy racist labels like “white guilt" or “white fragility.” I’ve recently addressed the subject of “white guilt" and those elite white idiots who feel it here.

As for African and Afro-Caribbean people, I know many such people in Brooklyn, and they have a diversity of viewpoints, but most don’t subscribe to the divisive and hateful #BLM ideology that’s making racism worse all across America. Almost all these people, unlike African Americans, statistically speaking, are accomplished, stable individuals who have never had run-ins with the law or anything of that sort. They grew up in stable, two-parent families and are happily married themselves. Nigerian Americans, for example, have a higher average income than white Americans and are one of the groups that is disproportionately successful all across the world, as described in Amy Chua and Jed Rubenfeld’s book, The Triple Package. People like this are not going to be easy marks for #BLM’s inflammatory lies and infantilization of black people. #BLM’s toxic victimization narrative only works on those people who are intent on being slaves and victims for the rest of their lives.

What we have in America is not a racism problem. We have a culture problem. The problem, specifically, is the self-destructive “cool-pose culture" of too many American-born African Americans and the condescending, patronizing culture of too many white limousine liberals. Once we address these issues, we’ll be much further along in solving the deeper problem of disproportionate black poverty.
