There’s No Way to Win the Race Game When Your Opponent Is a Loud Black Racist … So Let’s Stop Playing.

As this ludicrous article by race-baiter Seren Sensei that criticizes director Sofia Coppola for not having black people in her recent film illustrates, white directors (or, really, any white artists) face an insoluble conundrum:

• If you’re a white director, and you make a movie that has no black characters, you’re racist.
• If you’re a white director, and you make a movie that has black characters who are being depicted negatively, you’re racist.
• If you’re white director, and you make a movie that has black characters who are being depicted positively, you’re cultural appropriating blackness and are, therefore … wait for it … racist.

So how exactly do you win this game? You don’t. You can’t.

So what’s the solution? There’s only one way to keep your head above water: tune these people out, as more and more of us are doing. All ordinary Americans — reasonable white people, reasonable black people and reasonable people of every race, color and creed — are quickly getting fed up with this kind of juvenile racial essentialism, which is being kept alive only because the media (which knows it needs to keep concocting fake “controversies” to bait clicks and generate revenue) is keeping it alive.

For the rest of us, there’s nothing to see here. Go about your business. Stop listening to these aggressive black prima donnas jawing at you for not representing them or for daring to represent them or for representing them the “wrong” way.

Artists, be true to your art!

Thinkers, don’t worry about anything other than the integrity of your ideas!

Scholars and scientists, follow your theories and facts wherever lead you!

Leave these race-baiters on the sidelines. Leave them behind in the dust. Let them entertain each other and their hooting and hollering adherents in their pointless, hate-filled freakshow. But pay them no heed. Eventually, the crowds will get tired of all the grunting and grimacing, the circus will close up shop, and the race-baiting freaks will be left alone, shouting at each other in the dark.
