Yeah, like you, virtually all the more right or conservative stories that I see popping up are from people I happen to follow, whereas the left-leaning or liberal ones are from people I follow and then many, many more from Medium’s recommendations. Because my own views are all over the political spectrum, I want a diversity of viewpoints, and I wouldn’t even mind a real Marxist now and then because they sometimes are good on issues of corporate cronyism and corruption and on our stupidly interventionist foreign policy that wastes trillions of dollars on useless and/or counterproductive nation-building, but what Medium keeps delivering is more and more of these dumb identity politics screeds that get off on calling everyone under the sun racist and sexist and homophobic, while thinking they’re saying something eye-opening and profound. It’s the same tired, repetitive nonsense again and again and again.
