You kind of picked this up midway, and maybe you didn’t see my original post that started this dialogue (not blaming you for that; just observing), so, as a result, I think you’re misinterpreting my position a bit. Though I haven’t personally done it, I’m not at all against blocking, and I’m not against Medium allowing it. I’m sure it can be helpful on some occasions. My specific issue is with the way the block function in Medium results in interfering with the experience of users other than yourself and the person you blocked.
