You might’ve read some of my articles, but you obviously didn’t read them carefully enough to understand them. I have never said that because blacks are, statistically speaking, more likely to be criminals, cops should be profiling them and shooting or brutalizing them. What I said (repeatedly) is that because blacks are, statistically speaking, more likely to be criminals, they are involved in interactions with cops more than other races (speaking proportionately), and so they will also be involved in more interactions with cops that turn out badly (again, speaking proportionately). This is basic logic and common sense, and it means you can’t just conclude cops kill blacks at a disproportionate rate by comparing the percentage of blacks in the general population to the percentage of people cops kill who are black. You have to factor in the racial crime rate if you want to compare apples to apples. This is very different than the kind of racial profiling you’re talking about. In your desperate urge to go find an opportunity to label someone a racist (and I’m sure you label “racists” like this each and every day because you’ve already shown yourself to be exactly the kind of angry, bitter, brittle and resentful human being that goes around vomiting up your hatred all over others and makes the world a more mean-spirited, small-minded place), you totally lost all the nuance and logic of the argument. You, on the other hand, labeled me a typical Russian because you think I’m racist, and Russians, in your view, are largely racist. Now THAT’S textbook racist thinking.
