You wrote, “I think it would do you well to review the thirteenth amendment carefully. Under this amendment slavery is legal.”

So here is the text of the 13th Amendment:

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

This is a clear ban on slavery. There’s an exception built into the text so that no one can claim that jail time as punishment for a crime is slavery. Are you suggesting that the exception should be eliminated? If so, why?

You wrote, “Pluralistic society? You fail to see your power.”

Since we don’t know each other or how much power each of us has, who exactly is “you”? And, yes, we live in a pluralistic society … you know, one that allows for a diversity of views and allows you to do things like call for silly boycotts and spew hateful rhetoric with impunity (which is a right I personally believe you should have, even if I might disagree with most of what you say).
